3D Laser Scanning

Scope

Egg And Dart Project was commissioned by Lyons Kelly Architects, to carry out a 3D Laser Scan of the whole property, that accurately captures features of this historic building. This type of survey is essential for creating precise architectural plans, documenting historic structures, planning renovations. It provides a comprehensive understanding of a building’s layout, structure, and other critical details.

Key Activities

Works consisted of a complete 3D Laser Scan of the buildings, to provide accurate floor plans, sections and elevations.
For client request, highly detailed survey of all of the historic fabric such as: window, window frames, doors, door frames, staircases, stairwells, cornice, architrave, were carried out, supplemented by traditional hand measurement.
Next phase consisted of a complete topographical survey of the site.
