Scope
36 Harcourt St. is a protected building, which was in derelict state required a historic details recorded, before any conservation work could begin. Egg And Dart Project was commissioned by Cathal O'Neill & Associates to carry out detailed survey that accurately captures the physical dimensions and features of a historic building. This type of survey is essential for creating precise architectural plans, documenting historic structures, planning renovations, or for property management purposes. It provides a comprehensive understanding of a building’s layout, structure, and other critical details
Key Activities
For client request, highly detailed hand measurement of all of the historic fabric such as: window, window frames, doors, door frames, staircases, stairwells, cornice, frieze, architrave, columns, bases were hand measured in 1:1 scale. It was carried out using electronic total station and was supplemented by traditional hand measurement.
All prepared drawing included plans sections and elevations of the historic fabric and a plan with marked places of the drawn detail.
