Hope Baptist Church is situated in composed of three adjoining cut-stone period buildings – each with own-door access – at Eglinton Terrace in Dundrum, Dublin 14. Called the Taney Buildings, they were once a parish school, church and schoolmaster's house.
Wit a purpose of redisigning interior layout and refurbrishment, Egg And Dart Project was commissioned by Buchan Kane & Foley Architects to deliver a full digital survey that accurately captures the physical dimensions and features of all the historic building.
This type of survey is essential for creating precise architectural plans, documenting historic structures, planning renovations. It provides a comprehensive understanding of a building’s layout, structure, and other critical details.
Key Activities
Works consisted of a complete measured survey of the buildings, to provide accurate floor plans, sections and elevations.
Final phase consisted of a preapration of very detailed sets of drawings.
