Scope

The Convent is located in Tuam town, beside the Cathedral. The Convent was established in 1835 and a new premise was added in 1849 alongside a later Convent chapel in 1855. The Convent was extended again in 1927.
Egg And Dart Project was commissioned by Randal McDonnell Architects to deliver a full digital survey that accurately captures the physical dimensions and features of all the historic buildings that belongs to the convent. This type of survey is essential for creating precise architectural plans, documenting historic structures, planning renovations. It provides a comprehensive understanding of a building’s layout, structure, and other critical details.
